As a teenager, Shawn was fascinated with 30 different spider species and their mastery of weaving.  Under the moniker Alchemist Spider Shawn weaves together his musical influences, which include house and techno music combined with middle eastern and alternative rock. Each of his produced tracks and curated sets are designed to lead the listener through a mystical journey of connecting to the higher realms of our cosmic roots and the alchemy of the grounded human experience.
